Cynthia's career began as a young child when her mother, well known artist and teacher, Anne Marsh Evans, began giving her informal instruction. She went on to study art in Toronto and Europe.
Cynthia continues her life-long studies of illustration, portraiture, landscapes and still life. She has an impressionist approach to art focusing on light and brush strokes. She is not afraid to experiment with these. Painting in France, Ontario and recently Newfoundland has given her a wide range of subject matter. Her artworks can be found in collections in the United States, Australia, the United Kingdom, and of course in Ontario.
In 2008 Cynthia opened the Marsh Art Gallery and Studio. She is offering painting classes in her studio.
